Electronics Combat Engineering

For the U.S. Air Force’s 53D Wing, SENTEL personnel support a wide variety of tasks. These include development and maintenance of the E-3 Electronic Support Measures (ESM) Database (EEDB) for the U.S., French, and NATO Airborne Warning and Control Systems (AWACSs). SENTEL engineers perform radar analysis, configuration control, and EEDB mission data updates. SENTEL maintains a database of more than 3200 electronic platforms

Additionally, the SENTEL Test Engineering Group provides engineering support to several 53D Wing electronic warfare system foreign military sales programs. This support includes threat analysis, mission data updates, system handbook preparation, system hardware and software testing, and analysis of logistics issues.
