SENTEL Corporation is appraised as CMMI Level 2

 

SENTEL Corporation successfully transitioned to Level 2 of the Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI®) on March 7, 2008. A seven-day Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) Class A was conducted with the Systems and Software Consortium, Inc. (SSCI) of Herndon, VA, serving as the lead assessor agency. SSCI is authorized by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI), developers of the CMMI, to conduct this rigorous appraisal. Members of the SENTEL Engineering Process Group (EPG) from Dallas, Dahlgren, and Alexandria served as team members.

 

This appraisal level is in addition to SENTEL’s achievement of Level 3 of the Capability Maturity Model (CMM®) on November 10, 2005. CMM and CMMI are registered in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office by Carnegie Mellon University.
