Electromagnetic Environment Effects (E3). Engineers from Vectrus’ Spectrum Engineering Group perform the vital function of ensuring that the electromagnetic spectrum can be used with optimum efficiency and effectiveness by various competing military and civilian communications and electronic systems. Working with military communications and weapons systems, Vectrus engineers model, predict, and resolve electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) issues on ships, aircraft, land vehicles, and at fixed sites. Vectrus has provided engineering and technical support for the NAVY’s spectrum planning tool, the Afloat Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Program (AESOP).
