FAA IOT&E Award
Atlantic City, NJ – On May 25, 2010 - SENTEL was recently awarded the ISA Task Order under the Millennia Lite umbrella for one base year and four option years, which will begin June 1, 2010. This award comes nine years after SENTEL was originally awarded a task order under GSA’s Millennia Lite Contract to support the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Office of Independent Operational Test and Evaluation (IOT&E) for one base year with eight option years. In addition to IOT&E, the FAA office is now responsible for a wide range of safety related activities within the FAA Air Traffic Organization including the following:
• Office of Safety Independent Assessments (OSIA);
• Program Management for four Mission Support Tools used to analyze and replay Air Traffic scenarios for search and rescue, as well as, incident and accident analysis; and
• Safety Management System activities which include Implementation Audits/Assessments; Safety Data Trend Analysis; and Risk Mitigation Monitoring Evaluation, etc.
