SENTEL Awarded CMMI ® Status in Recognition of Excellence in Processes Across Company

Alexandria, VA – April 14, 2008 – SENTEL Corporation, a technology services company that provides the federal government and the military with engineering products and services worldwide, today announced that it has been granted CMMI ® Level 2 status, a mark of excellence in the way it handles processes across the company on behalf of its many clients.

SENTEL achieved Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 2 by the Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) Class A. This accomplishment means that SENTEL has reached a high level of product and service quality that organizations apply to achieve business objectives and assess their processes. It guides process improvements across a project, a division, or an entire organization. It also helps integrate traditionally separate organizational functions.
