Kip Ward with Amani Children's Choir

SENTEL President William “Kip” Ward visits with the Amani Children’s Choir from Uganda prior to delivering closing remarks at the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition Tribute Dinner honoring USAID Administrator Rajiv Shah, New Hampshire Senator Kelly Ayotte and Virginia Senator Tim Kaine at the Omni Shoreham in Washington DC, Wednesday, December 10, 2014. The tribute honors champions of U.S. development and diplomacy programs who have made a difference in sustaining America’s involvement in the world.

The performance by this group of 20 children from Uganda, who are aspiring leaders in their villages, was a special treat for the business, civic and government leaders attending the tribute. The students are on a 6 month visit to the United States in support of the care and education of Ugandan orphans. General Ward had previously heard the choir during one of his numerous visits to Uganda.
