Senior Maintenance/Operations Engineer

Description:

SENTEL offers a relaxed small company feel with diverse work assignments and some travel. The individual must have five to ten+ (5 – 10+) years of experience with maintaining and operating the equipment used in the FAA National Airspace System (NAS). This equipment includes automation, communication, weather, lighting, and surveillance systems used in the En Route, Terminal, and Tower environments. The candidate will be expected to: assist in the performance of Independent Operational Test and Evaluation (IOT&E) assessments to determine the operational readiness of FAA NAS systems; perform safety and risk assessments; and to support the test and evaluations on NAS playback tools. He or she must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Project. A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is highly desirable. The candidate will be expected to:

• Assist in the performance of Independent Operational Test and Evaluation (IOT&E) assessments to determine the operational readiness of FAA NAS systems

• Support safety and risk assessments

• Support test and evaluations on NAS playback tools

• Support develop of test plans, test procedures, and test reports

Education:

BS in the Electrical Engineering or related field is highly desirable.

Experience/Skills

5-10 years experience with Systems Engineering, test and evaluation, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and Project).
