Senior Systems Engineer

Description:

SENTEL offers a relaxed small company feel with diverse work assignments and some travel. This position requires a Bachelor of Science degree in systems, electrical, or software engineering; computer science; or a related field. The individual must demonstrate a working knowledge of systems engineering, automation, and command and control systems. He or she must have five (5) years of National Airspace System (NAS) systems engineering experience in areas related to design, development, test and evaluation, and implementation of automation or command and control systems. The successful candidate must also be experienced and capable in leading engineering tasks. He or she must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Project. The candidate will be expected to:

1. Assist in the performance of Independent Operational Test and Evaluation (IOT&E) assessments to determine the operational readiness of FAA NAS systems
2. Perform safety and risk assessments
3. Develop program management plans, test plans, test procedures, and test reports

4. Test and evaluate NAS playback tools

Education:

BS in Engineering or related field.

Experience/Skills

5-10 years experience with Systems engineering, test and evaluation, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and Project).
