Description:

Project Objectives:
Assist in the administration of all aspects of personnel security and program security for classified programs.  Alternate program security manager when the primary program security manager is absent.

Project Tasking:
Provide administrative security support for special access program (SAP) document control functions, including sending, receiving and logging classified and unclassified faxes and correspondence. Duties include, but are not limited to classification management reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence; maintenance of a document accountability database and associated correspondence; processing inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt records; destroy classified materials; process magnetic media for accountability; reproduction support for classified materials; maintain various daily logs for a variety of administrative functions associated with document control; process inbound and prepare and transmit outbound data transfer files; transfer electronic data files to internal customers; maintain correspondence suspense files; maintain an extensive customer database information/point of contact listing; complete and assess reproduction machine audit reports for irregularities; assist with researching, processing and completing outbound visit notice and permanent certifications; filing and maintaining visitor control files; escorting facility visitors; assist in the preparation of facility access control badges; conduct entry and exit inspections; maintain facility access control entry system, including visitor control. Prepares and processes personnel access requests (PARs) for billets. Performs data entry to the personnel access database and maintains all customer sponsored billets and quota information. Establish and maintain personnel security files for all personnel of the supported element. Conducts security interviews when required. Perform indoctrination and security education briefings.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree related to information science is desired, four years of program and personnel security management experience is required.  Formal Training in program and personnel security management is desired.

Requirements:

Employee must be capable of managing all aspects of personnel security, classified programs, classified materials, classified facilities operations and records maintenance.  A working knowledge of classified networks is required.  A current TOP SECRET security clearance (updated within the last 5 years) is required.  Employee must agree to polygraph and periodic drug testing in accordance with US Government policies and must be able to pass first tier adjudication.
