General Summary:


SENTEL Corporation is seeking technically qualified, energetic individuals to serve as Operations Specialist II, providing Integrated Logistical Support Services (ILSS) in support of the Army Material Command’s, Army Sustainment Command (ASC) other branches of the Armed Services, and Government agencies worldwide.  Responsible for activities which cover the breadth of the logistics and supply mission to include, property accountability, asset visibility, maintenance and fleet management, unit level maintenance, vehicle operator and supporting functions, Army information system management and reporting, operational planning, storage operations, facilities management, security, and quality management. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and publish contractual or organizational appointments, meetings, and operations.

  2. Manage small projects, conducts research and disseminates information by telephone, mail services, websites and email.

  3. Maintain both paper and electronic files supporting operational activities.

  4. Create spreadsheets, compose correspondence, manage minor databases and create presentations, reports and will possess knowledge in Microsoft Office software (specifically Excel and Access).

  5. Maintain all location office supplies – ordering, inventory and distribution as well as safeguarding.

  6. Document generation (briefings/presentations, administrative correspondence and orders).

  7. Disseminate direction/requirements to assigned or subordinate operations.

  8. Review, analyze, and evaluate both internal and external guidance, concept plans, operational plans, and mission execution.

  9. Policy and standards review for operational effectiveness, efficiency, and impact.

  10. Review and approve employee expense reports, vendor invoices as well as external invoices to government customer for accuracy.

  11. Perform other duties as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

    1. The candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

    2. The candidate must have at least 3 years of related experience

    3. The candidate must have personnel management skills, supervisory experience, organizational, analytical, written and oral communication skills

    4. Ability to prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and interact at all levels.

    5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; ability to work in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.

    6. Ability to work well under pressure and around tight deadlines.

Certificate, Licenses, Registration, Clearance:


Must be a United States citizen and possess an active SECRET level clearance

The candidate must have a valid driver's license

Computer Skills:


    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Sharepoint), and other software programs to assist with special projects, process business unit invoices, and other compliance programs.

      Must have operational knowledge of fax machines, photocopiers, scanners and videoconferencing/telephone systems
