Information Assurance Specialist, Classified Programs

Description:

SENTEL offers a relaxed small company feel with diverse work assignments and some travel. Assist in the administration of all aspects of physical, computer, and test conduct security for classified programs. Duties include but are not limited toauditing of computers systems, writing and reviewing system security plans (SSPs), set up and conduct of security tests and evaluations of new computer technology, conduct of risk analysis, write test plans/reports, advise on security policies, programs, and tests for classified computer systems, assist the network Information Assurance Manager (IAM) and program security manager (PSM) on all aspects of program security. Support both self-inspections and site/network inspections. Have an understanding of classified networks operations, and installation of supporting hardware and software. Other responsibilities will depend upon program requirements.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree related to information science or equivalent experience is desired. Familiarity with JAFAN 6/3 and DCID 6/3 is required. Some type of system administration experience is preferred.

Experience/
Skills:

Employee must be capable of managing all aspects of testing (test plan, conduct, test report), fielding, and maintaining information system security related projects. A working knowledge of classified networks is required. A current TOP SECRET security clearance (updated within the last 5 years) is required. Employee must agree to polygraph and periodic drug testing in accordance with US Government policies and must be able to pass first tier adjudication.
