Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer

Annapolis, MD

Reports to:

Vice President, Spectrum Engineering Group

Description:

Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate naval airborne platforms, weapons, and avionics. Attends preliminary, critical and other design reviews to ensure requirements are properly defined and implemented. Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance, testing, or acquisition and resource management. Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, and evaluates automated data processing software related to engineering or functional requirements of associated support systems, or management informational systems.

Education:

A BS/MS degree in electrical engineering or related engineering discipline.

Requirements:

Candidate must have, or be eligible for, a US Secret (or higher) security clearance. Experience in C++ and/or MATLAB is essential. Testing experience is a plus.
