Course Developer, and Trainer, Classified Programs

Description:

Duties: Develops, delivers, and evaluates Education and Training programs. Knowledge of academic processes and procedures used to develop curriculum and training materials is required.  Knowledge of instructional technology and applications, and computer courseware desired.  Well developed instructional methods with ability to teach multiple courses.  Must be highly effective communicator with experience conducting application/ technical courses. Needs to have well developed interpersonal skills. Schedules training sessions within individual training programs ensuring facility setup, audiovisual setup and employee notification. Should be versed in Microsoft Office Production Suite or equivalent. Other responsibilities will depend upon program requirements. Frequent travel will be required for this position.

Requirements:

Shall be experienced creating instructional guides, Functional User Guides (FUGs), and other similar documentation.  Computer based training (CBT) experience is desired. Working knowledge of computer systems to include classroom network setup/ troubleshooting, experiencing coordinating with network system administrators, and basic desktop troubleshooting is preferred, but not required. A current TOP SECRET security clearance (updated within the last 5 years) is required. Employee must agree to polygraph and periodic drug testing in accordance with US Government policies and must be able to pass first tier adjudication.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree related to information science or equivalent experience is desired. Minimum two (2) years' prior training, or teaching or experience. Familiarity with JAFAN 6/3 and DCID 6/3 is preferred. Some type of system administration experience is preferred.
