Associate Systems Analyst/Programmer

Description:

SENTEL offers a relaxed small company feel with diverse work assignments and some travel. This position requires a Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in computer science, software engineering, engineering, or a related field. As an alternative, the individual may have five - ten (5 - 10) years of demonstrated applicable experience in software development using current government standards, FAA NAS systems, test and evaluation, and risk assessment. The candidate must have experience in and/or knowledge of various software development environments (e.g., web-based, client/server, PC) and software development languages (e.g., C, C++, VBA, JAVA, HTML). He or she must have extensive experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Project. In addition, it is highly desirable that the individual have experience with or working knowledge of FAA NAS systems. The candidate will be expected to:

1. Modify and/or develop reports that interface with Excel files and/or an Access database

2. Perform software system analysis
3. Monitor FAA contractor software development
4. Write software development assessments
5. Develop and conduct qualification testing of data sources

Education:

BS/BA in Computer Science or related field.

Experience/Skills

0-5 years experience. Knowledge of C, C++, VBA, Java, HTML, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and Project).
