Force Protection/Counter-Terrorism Specialist

Description:

SENTEL offers a relaxed small company feel with diverse work assignments and some travel.  The person in this role will support NVESD’s Security Branch on-site at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia. Candidates with prior military service experience in the area of Access Control and Physical Security are preferred. Knowledge of Army Physical Security program.  Familiarization with integrated access control systems and counter terrorism technologies. Must have DoD Secret clearance or be able to obtain one.

Experience/Skills:

5-10 years total
• Minimum of five years experience in a security or surveillance field with use of access control system/CCTV.

• Demonstrated understanding of AR 190-15, AR 525-13, DODI 2000.12, DODI 200.16 and other related guidance

• Possess specialized expertise in the areas of force protection, anti-terrorism, and  HSPD-12. Must have specialized Army or DoD training, such as;                          

• Electronic Security Course , Redstone Arsenal
• Security Engineering, Access Control Point, or VAPO courses, USACE,  Omaha, NE
• Level I &  Level II Anti-Terrorism Training, Ft Leonard Wood, MO
• 
  

  • Possess a minimum of three years experience in experience in a management or managerial-related role; overseeing security or protection operations and facilities upgrades.
