EMC/EMI Engineer

Patuxent River, MD

Reports to:

Vice President, Spectrum Engineering Group, Annapolis, MD

Description:

Roles and responsibilities of the EMC/EMI Engineer:

    • Performs various functions in the general area of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)/ Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) analysis, spectrum management/ Spectrum Certification, and Electronic Attack (EA) in direct support of a DoD Organization.
    • Runs EMC/EMI analysis models and analyzes the results to predict the impact of EA Systems on other systems in their intended operational electromagnetic environment (EME).
    • May attend meetings and present results of EMC/EMI analyses in support of the DoD Organization.

Education:

BS/MS in EE or related field.

Experience/ Skills:

At least 3 years of progressive experience in EMC/EMI Analysis and Spectrum Certification including thorough knowledge of Spectrum Certification Process, including Spectrum Certification Software (SCS). Must have, or be eligible for, a DoD security clearance at the secret or higher level.
