AFSEVEN Video Teleconferencing Technician (Classified Programs)

Reports to:

Director, Combat Systems Engineering Division

Description:

Provide computer, video conference and audio/visual technical support. Provide video and audio meeting/event support. Assist in video and audio conference setup, scheduling and staffing collaborative technology events, and maintaining equipment inventories. Assist various IT project lead in accomplishing required tasks to evaluate and execute the deployment of IT systems. Have an understanding of classified networks operations, and installation of supporting hardware and software. Other responsibilities will depend upon program requirements.

Education:

Associate's Degree related in information science or equivalent experience is desired. A minimum of two years customer service. Experience with modern video teleconferencing equipment is preferred. Familiarity with and have received JAFAN 6/3 and DCID 6/3 training is required. Some type of system administration experience is preferred.

Requirements:

Ability to manage schedules, assist in event planning, set-up, provide technical support of web and network based collaborative software. A working knowledge of classified networks is required. A current TOP SECRET security clearance (updated within the last 5 years) is required. US citizenship is required. Employee must agree to polygraph and periodic drug testing in accordance with US Government policies and must be able to pass first tier adjudication.
