William E. Ward President and COO
William E. (Kip) Ward is the President and COO of SENTEL Corp.
A retired Army General Officer, Ward, the inaugural Commander of the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM), successfully established the nation's newest and uniquely positioned interagency geographic command responsible for all U.S. defense and security activities on the African continent and its island nations with staff representatives from State, Commerce, Treasury, Homeland Security and other U.S. Cabinet Departments and Agencies.
Amy LaCivita Executive Vice President
Amy LaCivita is the Executive Vice President of SENTEL Corporation. She joined the team in February 2009 with more than twenty years experience.
Prior to joining SENTEL, Ms. LaCivita served for ten years as Vice President of Contracts of Dimensions International, Inc., managing a staff of fourteen contracts professionals, until they were acquired by Honeywell. During that ten-year period, the company grew from $30M in annual revenue to $210M in annual revenue. Accomplishments included receiving “Outstanding” rating on GSA Schedule Contracts Compliance Reviews (IT, MOBIS and Logistics Worldwide), receiving “Outstanding” ratings on DCMA Small Business Compliance Reviews, and maintaining an “Approved” status on Government Property Audits.
Mike Royer Chief Financial Officer and Vice President
Mike Royer is the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of SENTEL. Mike directs and manages SENTEL’s financial analysis, strategy, policy, reporting, acquisitions and ventures.
Prior to becoming SENTEL’s CFO, Mike previously has held similar roles for AEGIS Defense Services ($285M security and risk management company), Millennium Engineering and Integration ($120M systems engineering and integration company), and was Vice President of Finance at L-3 Communications, responsible for top level financial oversight and operations of the six services divisions ($4.4B).
Sandy Brucker Vice President of Contracts
Sandy Brucker is the Vice President of Contracts at SENTEL Corporation. Ms. Brucker has the executive authority and responsibility in the company for contracts, subcontracts, purchasing, consulting agreements, government property, teaming agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and cost proposals. She joined the team in February 2009 with more than twenty years experience.
Charles Painter Vice President of Business Development
Dr. Charles Painter serves as SENTEL's Vice President for Corporate Business Development. With over 36 years of experience as a government employee and federal contractor, Dr. Painter has successfully supported a variety of Intelligence Community (IC), Homeland Security, civilian federal, and large municipal law enforcement agencies.
Patricia Curtis Vice President of Mission Support Services
Patricia Curtis serves as SENTEL’s Vice President of Mission Support Services, where she is responsible for managing all of SENTEL Corporation’s intelligence-related contracts with an array of customers including the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA),the National Security Agency (NSA), the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA).
Michael J. Smith Vice President of Engineering
Michael J Smith is Vice President of SENTEL's Engineering Business Unit. He leads the Systems Engineering, Spectrum Engineering and Engineering Services Technology Groups. The Engineering Business Unit provides innovative solutions and services in support of National Security Programs related to Chemical Biological Defense, Sensor Integration Systems and Customs and Border Security Programs.
Chet C. Young Vice President of Logistics
Chet C. Young is the Vice President of SENTEL’s Logistics Division, which provides a full range of innovative logistics support services worldwide.
He graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, with a BS in Political Science, and was commissioned as a United States Army, Quartermaster Officer. Additionally, he holds a Master of Strategic Studies degree from the United States Army War College, and a Master of Public Administration degree from Shippensburg University.
Robert L. Wright Co-Chairman Emeritus
Dr. Robert L. Wright was born in Columbus, Georgia and received a Degree in Optometry from The College of Optometry at The Ohio State University.
Dimensions International, Inc. (DI) was founded in 1985 by Dr. Wright who served as Chairman and CEO then Chairman Emeritus and Senior Advisor until 2007 when the company was sold to Honeywell.
O.B. McCane Co-Chairman
O.B. McCane served as the founding Vice President of SENTEL’s Logistics Division before joining the Board of Advisors. Mr. McCane is a graduate of Kentucky State University with a BS in mathematics. After attending officer’s candidate school, he was commissioned in the Ordnance Corps and assigned as a Nuclear Weapons and Materiel Officer.
General Johnnie E. Wilson (Retired) Advisor
General Wilson is a retired United States Army four-star general who, over the course of 38 years, has held a wide variety of significant command and staff positions culminating in his assignments as the Commanding General, U.S. Army Materiel Command.
Prior to serving on SENTEL’s Board of Advisors, General Johnnie E. Wilson served as President and COO of Dimensions International, Inc. until the company was acquired by Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc., where he served as Vice President, Mission Logistics for four years.
